SCHOONER PRIDE

FORT SUMTER NATIONAL MONUMENT
Fort Sumter Tours offers the only tour to the Fort Sumter Monument, America’s most historic landmark. You can board the ferryboat at the National Park Service Visitor Education Center located next to the SC Aquarium at Concord and Calhoun streets. See your Concierge for schedule and details.

MIDDLETON PLACE PLANTATION
Middleton Place is a proud survivor of the American Revolution, Civil War and natural disasters. Walk through the same garden footpaths as did pre-Revolutionary statesmen.

THE OLD SLAVE MART MUSEUM
The Old Slave Mart Museum is the first African-American Museum. It is often staffed by individuals who can trace their ancestry to Charleston slaves. This historic building includes a series on informative posters, a small collection of artifacts, and an interview with a former slave.

CHARLESTON’S MUSEUM MILE
This one mile section of Meeting Street contains 6 museums, 5 historic houses, 4 parks, and numerous historic houses of worship and public buildings. We are conveniently located in the center of the mile. Some of our favorite historic houses include the Nathaniel Russell House and the Aiken-Rhett House.

GIBBES MUSEUM OF ART AND ARTS DISTRICT
Opened in 1905 and with more than 10,000 works of fine art, the Gibbes Museum of Art features American artwork with ties to Charleston history. Renovated and reopened in 2016, the new Gibbes Museum boasts changing Special Exhibits on the 3rd floor.
